SEO beware! New algorithm is out. We all know that Ezine articles have always been an authority source as per speaking of Google trust ranking factors. We have experienced the effects of this Google trust ranking via submission of articles to authority article sites like Ezine. But what happened lately with these authority ariticle websites? What happened to Ezine?
I heard lately although it was not confirmed that Ezine was slapped with lower rankings in the search results with important keywords. It was word of mouth that big sites such as Ezine who used to rank in enormous amounts of keywords now had nowhere in the top 10 Google index results. What is Google trying to make us see. Is there a new algorithm that Google will favor? not favor? Are article websites no longer the authority that they are today more than yesterday? I hope that this doesn’t stir too much conflict with so many businesses around the world today, moreso, with SEO Outsourcing.
I noticed lately that syndicated content when posted via Google Reader are easily picked up by their search engine. At the same time, a lot of blogs out there that don’t even have original content, just syndicated content had authority more than those where pages were generated via original content. Why? Is Google trying to implement another turning point?
If a syndicated content comes from authority sites, those that had high PR, chances are, as long as you refer the original content, your pages seem to get high trust ranking from Google. Now, although this is just based on a personal experience level, still, you cannot discount the fact that seeing blogs with little or no original content, mostly syndicated ones, get high trust from Google rather than those sites and blogs that have one.This observation will surely have a great effect in SEO.
This news may be a bit late today but I’d like to post it anyway. I received a month-old email from Webpro News and it tells that Google has just lost 2 of their high profile employee in Google Australia. Buzz on the net says that it could be that G is getting too big to retain position being the top player in the web today. Big G just lost Kate Vale and Lars Rasmussen from Google Australia.
The question is that is Google really losing the battle to the top ranks with respect to being a player in the web over Facebook? What do you think about this issue? Keep on commenting below to let us know what you think.
Noticing from how Google ranks and provides their search results from a specific query, I must say I adore their latest speed. On time results were already here even as quick as when you type in your search term query. Amazing from way back in 1998 when I started my first blog discussing about Offshore SEO and why the Philippines is a prime destination for the said service, Google has come a long long way.

Have you tried the new Google Adsense interface? If not, you better do so because from my initial experience using the said interface which was opened up to publishers just today November 3, 2010, I can say that there is more to this one with respect to the usability that it offers in their new navigational links.

I have only one question as the defunct Yahoo Publishing tool YPN and the Internet Explorer 9 browser. “Will IE 9 make it through?”. To some it might not matter but for me, I used to believe that IE was once the big mecca that it is compared to Google but the race of technology since the founder and CEO of Microsoft left the industry to become the person that he wants to be. Bill Gates is now a private person with his wife living to help others through their foundation.

Who says that SEO is all about rankings? Well, I can remember that one big claim that ranking is dead early on back in 2008 and everybody was shocked to know and read about it. I am not because I didn’t believe it. Rankings for me is everything so how come it is dead? Well at first I asked that question on and on and on until I’ve gone tired of seeking the answer why the press release and so I head on to what I should do to avoid losing so much time on pointless argument.

Whichever you would like to call it, still, it falls under one umbrella organization for SEOs in the Philippines, the SEOPh Forum is a place I also duel regularly. Well, at least just like before but not much anymore because I am too busy with all the job I have to do myself for the sites I handle as well as the work I do online as an SEO and a corporate blogger in the Philippines.
I must admit that since I had lots of clients and job to do, it made it hard for me to maintain giving time for a vist or two to SEOPh Forum but I make it a point that at least once a month, I come over to give insights to newbies as well as to those who need help with anything under the sun (not just SEO).

There is another up and going SEO contest dubbed as the Microstore financement. This race for SEO blogging is open to all with a prize win for the top spot to arrive in Google search results. Not much with the details but I have only a few mentioned here. I believe that it will be easy for the right people to find whatever they need if they are interested to join the contest. So what to you is the basic concept of link building? Well I’d like to put it this way… link building is basically getting links (good links from trusted sites) around the world wide web. If you are to build links to a site that is your own, it is a bit harder to do it. Based on experience, Google can’t seem to be shaken off by links that is most of time accessed unders one computer address (not IP address). If you want to make a good link building dash for Google to see, you’ll have to use a pure link building purpose computer that you don’t use to access any of the sites you want to build links with.

If you are a SEO in the Philippines, then you must have your own web hosting service ot to the least you have a dedicated server hosting for all your sites and clients. For those who are trying to get in the limelight of the SEO industry in the Philippines, a decent web hosting will always have to be a first move. If you don’t have one, then, it is hard for clients to believe that you are offering SEO Outsourcing services.

What is Sikat Ang Pinoy all about? Simple, it is the first ever Pinoy na Pinoy SEO contest in the Philippines. This is open only to Filipino SEOs and search engine optimization buffs out there and I must admit that this is the first time that I have seen such rules. Yes, some of the rules are really exclusively different from all other SEO contest rules I have ever seen.

Although most would prefer to be called a SEO, there are a few elite people in the Philippines who engage in higher form of SEO. These people not just go for the trends of link building and website promotion. Search engine marketing extends up to the maximum level of online marketing ideas and processes but what’s interesting is that people responsible and behind SEM in the Philippines were those who resort to SEO with added tweaks in traffic generation.
